Practice makes perfect. And practicing that which makes us uncomfortable or that which feels new is the perfect way of becoming a more versatile and interesting writer. Here goes my short writing experiment in a new genre. Erotica. Let me know how it is!
Lay down a feast before me. Sizzling, steaming, almost too hot to the touch. The ribs, the legs, the eyes piercing and holding my desire barely in check. My hands tremble reaching for skin. My lips barely stem the flow of saliva and I bite my lower lip. Lay down the meaty appendages to rest, for tenderizing, for consumption. Let me satiate this appetite slowly, so that I may pace myself. The fingerlings, the chunks, the bones, the skins, the rawness, the sweet parts, the savory bits. The tip of my tongue explores the creases of my lips expecting to taste, imagining things. I can’t hold off much longer, so please let me sample. Let me kiss your fingertips, run my tongue along your jaw, let me kiss your closed eyelids, let me join you mouth to mouth. Breathe out hot air onto my neck looming closer lips to skin and pull gently on my scalp. You may feast as I feast…
